About HTI Legal Nurse Consulting and Life Care Planning
When I was trying to think of a name for my consulting
business, I wanted something that related to who I really am. HTI stands for Honor, Trust, and
Integrity. My father instilled these attributes into me. He was a living example of all three and I
try every day to live up to his example. I run my business the way I run my life.
My husband, mother, and I live in Orange City, Florida
on a small farm. I have a great interest in the environment and animal welfare. Animals are a huge
part of my life. We have an African Grey Parrot who has become our late- life "child". Of
course we have dogs, a cat, pygmy goats, a pony, and geese. We do all we can to attract wildlife to
our home. We truly have a piece of "heaven" on earth.
I have always been interested in medicine and law. It
followed that Legal Nurse Consulting was the natural path for me to take. I love what I do and I am
good at it. I am highly motivated, detail-oriented, and efficient. I make it a priority not only in
business but also in life to use my time effectively. My clients appreciate the fact that I keep
their budgets and deadlines intact!
I graduated with honors from Kaplan College school of Legal Nurse Consulting. I also
graduated from the Medical-Legal Consulting institute, Inc. I am a member of the Delta
Epsilon Tau honor society, American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, and the Orlando
Florida chapter of Legal Nurse Consultants. I am currently enrolled at Indiana Wesleyan
University to obtain my BSN, and I will graduate in January of 2008. I have started the
application process to pursue my Master's Degree in Nursing Education beginning in April
of 2008.
